I guess every net savvy person uses the term MIA, if they've been away from updates and stuff. Well, MIA is an acronym for Missing In Action. Which I have been in a while.
Here's a recent picture of me at the Sweet Surrender event at Sitio Isabella in Valley golf. My sister brought me along to be her photographer. It was a fine dining event showcasing lots of pâtisserie and yummy pastries. I've got loads of pictures of food but I'm afraid I'll just end up with a hungry stomach when I see the pictures again.
So what have I been doing lately?
THESIS - finally, over and done with. And ending up with a GWA of 1.8 (where 1 is the highest) and I am just so relieved that I'm almost done with college. The hardship is over. See, like what I always say to myself-- nothing lasts forever, even worries don't last. I guess there's where I get my super lax attitude. But then again I was so happy during my defense, the panel mentioned that he liked the related studies part. I also learned a lot from my own thesis, that the menu is the window to the whole concept of the restaurant and opens up other important factors to be noted in business planning especially in food and beverage industry. I'm actually loving my field in food & beverage, marketing, advertising and business management. I have learned quite a handful but still I want to learn more. I probably want to go study after taking a break from college. First, I gotta concentrate on more important things.
SLEEP - I've been catching on all the lost sleep I had during the previous semester. I sleep more than the average needed for a day. But that's what semestral holidays are for, to relax, unwind and... rest. lol.
And the rest will be on the next post. =p this is just an update anyway. :)
Cheers! :)
